FACILITIES
The Community Centre is being modernised and more facilities are being added, at present we are pleased to offer the following to hirers of the venues.
The Bar
There is a fully licensed bar adjacent to the Main Hall and with access from both the Small Hall and the Studio. This comfortable area has recently been subject to a complete refurbishment, it is carpeted and well lit and is a pleasant environment to enjoy a drink. The bar itself has been refitted and has a wealth of modern equipment to ensure a first class standard. There is a small additional charge for use of this facility.
The Kitchens
The Main Hall kitchen has a large oven and cooking range. Refrigerators, warming cupboard, microwave, and food preparation areas ensure that all your catering needs are met.
A second modern kitchen has recently been installed adjacent to the Studio and Small Hall and is intended to provide hot drinks and light refreshments to these areas.
Car Parking
There are spaces for 42 vehicles in the grounds of the Centre including two disabled parking bays. A further 120 spaces are available in public car parks within 100 yards - the public car parks are covered by a 24hr CCTV system for added security
Disabled Facilities
Two disabled toilets serve the Centre, one is at the main entrance and the other in the small hall corridor. There is no change of floor levels throughout the venue. Combined with clear signage this makes the Community Centre an accessible place for everyone.
